Ethos is an interdisciplinary and international journal devoted to scholarly articles dealing with the interrelationships between the individual and the sociocultural milieu, between the psychological disciplines and the social and cultural disciplines. We publish work from a wide spectrum of research perspectives. Recent issues, for example, include papers on religion and ritual, medical and psychiatric practice, addiction and recovery, political economy and psychological institutions. Research reports may use a wide range of methodological approaches and epistemological standpoints, although qualitative, ethnographic, and mixed-methods approaches are typical.
